Isn’t it a contradiction to combine lifting weights with beer? Something that is health orientated with something that is bad for you?
We certainly do not recommend lifting weights or performance any fitness activity under the influence of alcohol and advise against doing so. The stance we take is about an overall wellness and enjoyment of life. Our values of Growth, Gratitude, and Community serve as our guiding compass. We experience growth when lifting weights. Having a beer is a chance to be grateful for the good things in life and slow down for a bit. Lifting weights and drinking beer are both amazing facets of community and can build a stronger sense of community. When people come together to help each other and be apart of each other’s lives, it makes for a good life. Cheers!
The opener [bumper plate style] doesn’t seem to work well. Is there something wrong with it?
For some people the opener can seem a bit challenging of first. If that is you, that’s ok. Overcoming a short learning curve will enable you to open beers like a champ. Keep in mind these 3 steps. 1. Align the opener properly on the bottle cap. 2) Press into the bottle with the opener, its ok, even a bit encouraged to be a bit aggressive when doing so. 3) Move the opener in a straight line. See the images below and/or this link for a video demonstration. Cheers!
The opener [big arm style] doesn’t seem to work well. Is there something wrong with it?
For some people the opener can seem a bit challenging of first. If that is you, that’s ok. Overcoming a short learning curve will enable you to open beers like a champ. Keep in mind these 3 steps. 1) Place the hand on top of the bottle cap. 2) Keeping the hand on the cap, slide the bicep underneath the bottle cap. (the tip of the bicep will have a slight shine to it from the CNC machining process) 3) Maintain pressure of the bicep up in the cap, and move the tricep towards the hand. See the images below and/or this link for a video demonstration. Cheers!
